Your privacy is important to The Cookware Company.
We collect and use your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR").
This privacy notice provides you with more information on why and how we process your personal data, the measures we take to protect your data and how long we keep your data in the context of your participation in the competition.

1. Identity and contact details
The Cookware Company means all companies directly or indirectly associated with The Cookware Company B.V., located at Klopperman 16, 2292 JD Wateringen (the Netherlands) and registered under the number KVK 27380288.
The Cookware Company owns both own brands and brand licences. Our own brands include: Blue Diamond, BK, Chop & Grill, Gero, Greenchef, Greenlife, Greenpan, Keltum, Kochstar, Lumenflon, Moods, Merten & Storck, Royal van Kempen & Begeer and Vita Verde. Our licensed brands include: AEG, Bialetti, Mauviel, Electrolux, KitchenAid and Smeg.

2. Purposes
We process your personal data received directly from you when you participate in our competition.

3. Legal basis
We collect and use your personal data because you have given us the consent to do so.

4. Categories of personal data
For your participation in the competition, we process your first and last name, email address and date of birth.

5. Recipients of personal data
Within The Cookware Company, we may transfer your personal data when necessary to achieve the purposes listed above to third parties, including: electronic communication providers, IT partners and software providers.
Pursuant to a legal obligation, The Cookware Company may also share your personal data with third parties, including law firms, accountants and auditors, banks and insurance companies, government departments, bailiffs, court and police services.

6. Transfer outside the EEA
Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area without appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention period
We will keep your personal data for one month after the end of the competition.

8. Rights
You can always contact us to exercise the following rights:
- a request to access or rectify your personal data.
- a request for erasure of your personal data.
- a request to restrict the processing of your personal data.
- a request to unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter and promotional communications; or
- a complaint if you believe that we are not acting in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. You can also complain to the supervisory authority.

You may exercise the aforementioned rights or obligations by contacting us by email ( or by sending a letter to the address mentioned in point 1. In case of doubt about the identity of the person making the request, we may ask for additional information necessary to confirm the identity of this person. We will respect all your rights regarding your data to which you are entitled under applicable law.

9. Automated decision-making
We do not engage in automated decision-making.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal data and to protect your data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.

11. Amendments
This privacy statement may be amended from time to time, within the limits of applicable privacy and data protection regulations. In that case, we will change the "last update" date at the top of the statement. In case of significant changes, we will notify you by sending you a notification via e-mail.
